Our Bumper Plates are perfect for intensive barbell training and no matter whether classic strength and fitness training, Olympic weight lifting, power lifting or cross training – the Affenhand® weight plates are ready for it. You can drop them from great heights without any problems, as they cushion perfectly. As a result, they are significantly quieter than other weight plates when they are dropped. They also protect your floor, which is really important, especially in the home gym or in gyms where the floor is not very resistant.< /p>

No carcinogenic plasticizers:

Actually, the most important point with every weight plate: NO CARCINOGENIC PLASTICIZERS! The carcinogenic substance PAH and that’s really a problem. That’s why we exclusively used European, tested SBR rubber granules with our European production. In addition to more ecological* production in the EU, the rubber is also 100% recycled.

Robust his father:

The weight plates are extremely hard-wearing and are made in such a way that you can have fun with them for a really long time. Even multiple drops / letting fall is no problem for the Bumper Plates – they are made for exactly that! They can also be used outdoors – however, a rough surface may wear the edges down a bit.

5 kg weight plate with a diameter of 45 cm:

The special thing about our 5 kg weight plates is the diameter of 45 cm. So it has the diameter of all other weights and also the diameter of the IWF standard. 5 kg discs are often smaller than the heavy discs, which is not ideal for weightlifting beginners in particular, as they are not sufficient the correct starting position. In addition, with our 5-plates in WODs with barbell cycling or with burpees over the bar, you always have the right height! Another plus point: the 5 kg bumper plate is a bit thicker at 34 mm than many other 5-plates . This allows you to drop it if necessary without it breaking directly.

Eco-Made* in EU:

Our bumper plates are also made in the EU. This enabled us to ensure, among other things, that the deviations are only +/- 1%! In addition, only high-quality CBR rubber granules were used. We have used smooth stainless steel for the mounting rings so that the discs can be placed on the barbell smoothly – on the other hand always < stays firmly in place and doesn't wobble. The discs are built for barbellswith sleeves with an outside diameter of 50mm. Thus suitable for all classic barbells for Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting or cross training.

*In this context, ecological means: the transport routes are as short as possible due to the production within the EU. Certified materials and manufacturing processes were used. The working conditions are of good European standard. The products are designed to last.
