PSO-RITE®️ aka. Relax hip flexors (and more)
PSO-RITE is an innovative self-massage tool that allows you to easily relax many muscles and your hip flexors. Among other things, you can eliminate your back pain!
How can I get rid of back pain with this?
The hip flexors (iliopsoas or psoas) may tend to “ contract with prolonged sitting or excessive exertion (e.g. running, soccer, squats…). strong>tense“. Since the muscle is very difficult to work, PSO-RITE was developed! The two tips are shaped in such a way that you can trigger the psoas independently (i.e. put pressure on it). An overly irritated hip flexor muscle can often be the cause of back problems as it can tilt the pelvis too far forward. With the PSO-Rite you can reduce the constant stress on the hip flexors. Based on this, you can finally eliminate the cause of your back problems with mobility and strength exercises.
Also for other muscle groups:
The PSO-RITE is not only designed for the hip flexors. You can use it to work any other musculature. Its elongated tips also make it easier for you to reach areas that are difficult to work with other massage tools, such as B. the muscles between/ under the shoulder blades.
How can I relax the hip flexor with this?
The application is really simple. To work the hip flexors (psoas), simply lie on your stomach on the PSO-RITE. The tips should each start just above the hips in the abdomen. To make sure you hit the hip flexor, bend your knee once on each side. This puts tension on the psoas and you can feel whether it is lying properly. Now you can perform different massage variants. You can slowly move back and forth, you can bend your knee repeatedly, or you can just lie still and take deep breaths in and out.
How long will I stay on the muscle with the PSO Rite?
Just stay on it for as long as feels good to you. This could be multiple 20-30 second intervals or a long block of 2-4 minutes. You can do this before bed to take the stress off your muscles and get a good night’s sleep, or in the morning to get you ready for the day. It also makes sense to work on the hip flexors before or after intensive training sessions. Here you can simply try out what is good for you!
The PSO-RITE is modeled after the shape of a therapist’s hand, just with the hardness of an elbow. The perfect combination for an intensive treatment and ideal for relaxing the hip flexors.
