The BikeErg features the same pinwheel and monitor as the Concept 2 Rower and SkiErg – and offers the same benefits. The BikeErg works with air resistance, which is generated by the wind turbine. This principle of resistance enables a smooth, directly responsive and quiet ride. The air flap adjustment on the BikeErg works like the gears on a bicycle. You can determine yourself how the resistance feels.
Not only the improvement of your condition is possible. With short, intense sprints, your strength will also go through the roof! It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner and want to use the bicycle ergometer to balance your work, or whether you’re pushing your performance limits as a professional – the Concept 2 BikeErg enables you to train individually. You can adjust the saddle and handlebar position individually – and all of this without any additional tools with a quick hand movement. The handlebars can even be adjusted vertically and horizontally and offers three different grip positions. In addition, most commercially available bicycle parts can be easily attached. So you can use your own handlebars, saddle or pedals and make your BikeErg even more individual!
But what makes the bicycle ergometer really individually tailored to you is the air resistance that is generated in the wind turbine. You can increase the resistance in 10 different levels. But at every level, the harder you kick, the more resistance is generated.
Keep track of your progress:
The PM5 Monitor allows you to measure and document your performance precisely. Your training data is stored on the internal memory or you can connect the monitor to a USB stick . You can also play games that refresh your endurance training or you can connect to other bicycle ergometers in the area via Bluetooth and have a monkey-like race.
