This TacTec® Plate Carrier was developed for the military and various security services by 5.11 Tactical and is therefore unrivaled in quality and handling when it comes to weight waistcoats. Due to the very robust 500D nylon material and the premium velcro closure of the waistcoat, it is almost indestructible and repels dirt. Should you still want to wash your vest after many training sessions, you can easily do so in lukewarm soapy water and with lots of love. In order to be able to use this vest in sports, we have constructed, laser cut and powder coated steel plates together with 5.11 Tactical. Of course 100% manufactured in our Affenhand factory (EU). We offer the vest in 14, 20 and 29 pounds for a reason. Pro athletes like Kari Pearce & Josh Bridges use exactly these 14 and 20 pounds for the Hero Workout Murph, which convert to about 6.35 and 9.10 kg. A perfect weight to show solidarity with the fallen soldier Michael P. Murphy (namesake of this workout) and to achieve an optimal training effect.
